Project Background

Hungry Hub is Thailand’s No.1 buffet app. It offers an exclusive “All You Can Eat” concept at regular a la carte restaurants. Their business benefits both parties: restaurants and customers. It helps restaurants generate more revenue while creating an alternative option for eating out and saving money for customers. 

Previous design vs. New design

 

Challenge

Hungry Hub has an ambitious goal to go international and expand in South East Asia. Although it is currently thriving and its offering is unique in the Thai market, its logo identity appears to be less distinctive and carries many Thai elements. To grow its business, Hungry Hub required an identity refresh that would allow them to scale and expand its operation in the future.

 

Solution 

To elevate the logo identity, we decided not to change the previous logo identity design completely, embracing its essence and enhancing it instead. In the design process, we conducted an audit to identify the essential elements of the brand and its logo identity. We kept some crucial components such as the table, the red color, and the typography location, simplified them, and gave them a fresh new look. Therefore, the new logo identity is simpler and bolder yet beaming the spirit of the original Hungry Hub.
